In the scope of implementation of the National Intellectual Property Strategy 2022-2025 it was realized today the first day of the one-day National Seminar "IP4 Youth & Teachers" that took place in the premises of Tirana International Hotel as one of the activities scheduled for the training of teachers of pre-university education grade in the field of Intellectual Property. This activity was supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and the General Directorate of Industrial Property.

 

In her welcoming speech, the General Director Mrs. Rovena Beqiraj welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of this training for the teachers of the pre-university system, as a very reliable indicator in the education of young generations in the field of intellectual property. The lecturers participating in this event were international experts with a significant experience in the field of intellectual property:

  • Mr. Hani AJI, Associate Expert, Distance Learning Program, OBPI Academy
  • Mr. Paata Papava, Pedagogy Expert, Georgji
  • Prof. Leonid Chechurin, University of Engineering Sciences (LUT) Finland
  • Ms. Eman Ibrahim, PL Trainer and Patent Examiner, Egyptian Patent Office
  • Ms. Chanda Tembo, Expert, Zambia.

During the training cycle, there were presented explicit examples of how to promote creativity through IP learning, also there were made constructive discussion between teachers about IP learning by making the training process quite interesting and interactive.
